Class 2 Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced Class 2 (CAT C) Drivers for a busy and professional logistics company!

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Location: Ipswich
Start Time: 7:00 AM (may vary depending on route)
Vehicle Type: Curtainsider with Tail Lift
Load Type: Palletised goods – Multi-drop

Job Description:

You will be responsible for making multi-drop deliveries of palletised goods using a Class 2 Curtainsider with a tail lift. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent driving skills and a good level of physical fitness.

Requirements:
• Valid Class 2 (CAT C) licence
• Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with curtainsider vehicles and tail lifts
• Confidence with multi-drop deliveries
• Strong customer service skills
• Reliable and punctual with a flexible approach

Job Details:
• Use of a tail lift and pallet truck for loading/unloading
• Multi-drop deliveries in a timely and professional manner
• Occasional early starts – 7 AM standard, but flexibility required
• Ensuring accurate paperwork and PODs
